It seems that News Corp. is in early talks with Bokee and Blogcn in order to bring MySpace to China. Some think that MySpace should forget about a China presence.
Sohu is also reported partnering with Nokia for blog contest. Again, it seems that only Nokia understands how connect with social media sites and social media in general. Samsung? SonyEricsson? Motorola? Hallo...?
Tallking about China, VentureBeat reports that venture capital investments in mainland China companies rose 47 percent in the quarter, compared to the same quarter last year -- and total investments for the year should easily break a record. Venture capitalists pumped $361.1 million into 54 companies during the quarter, according to Ernst & Young and Dow Jones VentureOne.
Not bad...

I have some chinese friends on myspace and they have now told me that they cannot view the profiles of anybody else on myspace including their friends such as myself. I have written to myspace twice to try and find out wht this is but they will not tell me. Do you know why? Have the chinese govt asked for this to be done.
