Ever since I first stepped into Charles River Ventures office the first time, the little Squeezebox in the recption always caught my attention. The Squeezebox created by Slim Devices was aquired yesterday by Logitech. Guess if my friend Bill Tai sitting next door to me today is happy. He wrote their first check (as a private investor) and has not stopped talking about the little Squeezebox ever since.
The little Squeezebox deliver music into every room of your home, software is based on open-source and can connect to the Internet via WiFi. It comes loaded with thousands of Internet radio station and features Pandora's personalized music service and Rapsody's 2 million song collection. It even streams you music when your computer is off. Very cool and congratulations to Bill for spotting yet another winner.
