    Brands & Second Life

SlIf a brand appears in Second Life and no-one is around, does it really exist?

    Good question.

PSFK, is wondering what the heck is going on at Second Life. Real people are spending real money to enjoy a second life in a virtual world..

Second Life is really becoming the place to be, how awkward that might be anyway. It is not more than natural that where crowds hang out –  the brands will follow. Brands are buying remote Islands. BTW if you are an advertiser, there are huge congregational gatherings in Clubs and fairs in SL and these spaces are still not sponsored.

Just before I leave the SL website I see that the last 24 hours, people have spend $362, 792 on SL. Unbelievable.Com’on. Get a life!

While we are on the subject of Virtual Worlds, Tune into this weeks episode of the Shrink Rap Radio Podcast, featuring Virtual Reality Psychologist, Dr. Albert “Skip” Rizzo (wonder what the “skip” stands for?) .

New to Second Life? Check out CBS’s recent story on SL.
