Met yesterday with Buddy/Ling Ye and Edward Haynes, the founders of China’s WhangYou Media. WhangYou Media is unique in the sense that all the content is user contributed: video clips, cartoons, music, podcasts, photos and blogs. They are still fairly small for being a Chinese web property, but they are growing really fast and the fact that the content is user contributed differentiate them many other Chinese portals. They are also more of a cross-media company rather than only a online portal.
