Hey, don't worry! We will not release M2 before it is ready ;) But I appreciate your concern. Of course the product and our users is the most important part - all the rest is secondary. Keep reporting bugs and come with feedback!

I agree - I'll look a right plonker if M2 is released in its current condition.
I'm 50/50 usage between M1 and M2 - Can't be that far away from a release but don't mess-up at this late stage.

Good commend Koogle. If you rush M2 out as it is now then it won't make a big impact. Think of the comments on program download sites such as fileforum. They will complain about the many bugs that were meant to be fixed in BETA.
Please, think of the product and your users. Releasing M2 now or soon will be a wrong move. Fix all the bugs/problems first. You do want Maxthon to be a great browser don't you instead of a bug riddled one?

"we are soon launching a serious upgrade of the Maxthon Start Page"
yes judging by the number of things that get updated/fixed in past beta releases of Maxthon2 I think the last thing that needs a serious upgrade is the START PAGE... common that made me laugh.. the start page could do with spicing up I agree, but its M2 itself thats needs a serious upgrade if its ever to come out of beta imo. How can Maxthon2 come out of beta soon, when so many things just aren't there and working as they should. So many areas need improving.. I still don't use M2 as a default browser and at this rate I probably still won't be when its out of beta :(
"Shouldn't a lot of the bugs reported be fixed before we move out of BETA?"
yes and not just bugs, certain skinning things should be implemented/changed, key shortcuts/ among a alot more things mentioned on the forum.

Maxthon2 is candy to the eyes, however there are still some bugs. I know it's the last thing to do, but emmory usage and loading speed of the page is the most important IMO.
I love maxthon :)
Keep up the good work
